I want to tell you that your efforts this year have been paying off.

You see, five states have defunded Planned Parenthood this year; Indiana, North Carolina, Kansas, Wisconsin and Texas.

But as you know, passing legislation doesn't mean the battle is won and over.

The states have to stand strong as the blowback from their victory for the unborn is fierce.

You see, Planned Parenthood fought back against these victories by bringing lawsuits against Indiana, North Carolina and Kansas.

And just as Americans for Life predicted, pro-abortion judges sided with Planned Parenthood, citing states don't have the right to defund an abortion provider.

But here's the kicker, the states don't have to listen to these judges!

And thanks to you, Kansas is a state doing just that.

Despite being ordered by a federal judge to reinstate funding for the state's Planned Parenthood organization, it has refused to do so by effectively stalling.

It's because of you and your fellow pro-life Americans that Kansas has the courage to stand up to the courts.

But as you know, it's not certain that Kansas will keep up the fight, especially if the Obama Administration throws its weight around using threats and intimidation.

You and I have to see to it that they do.

See Indiana for example.

Thanks to your pressure, we have kept Mitch Daniels from caving to the court's ruling that Indiana cannot remove funding for Planned Parenthood.

However, Daniels has not come out and publicly stated whether he will fight back the court's ruling.

Why wouldn't a public figure with political aspirations make a statement unless he is still weighing his options?

Politicians can't be trusted to make the right choice, hence the reason I ask you to sign so many petitions and make phone calls.

We have to force their hand.

Which is exactly what you have been doing in Indiana to Mitch Daniels.
