Pajamas T.V. update

2 items
1. MINNSIR meeting with Archbishop
2. Activities you can do from home/community

****************************
1. Meeting with Archbishop
MINNSIR attempted to meet with Archbishop Nienstedt
not for a confrontational meeting - but a meeting where our point
of views and those of the Church regarding illegal immigration
could be discussed in a private and non confrontational manner.

We were concerned that an email or other form of communication
from MINNSIR itself, would automatically be disregarded - so a
patriotic member initiated the request.

WE WHERE SHOT DOWN IMMEDIATELY
Apparently the Archbishop - as a representative of the Catholic Church
is unwilling to have a respectful conversation of this matter.

Here is the response we received
############################

I have received your e-mail and I see no benefit in granting you the
appointment you requested.  Please feel free to send me your thoughts by
regular mail.
With every good wish,
Archbishop Nienstedt

Future and current activities you can do-
FROM YOUR HOME/COMMUNITY

ONLY BY OUR INACTION ARE THEY ENSURED A VICTORY!

As we witness the political aspects within illegal immigration - which are scary at best
 - the future is still unknown.
Many of you are eager to somehow have a positive impact on ending illegal immigration.

Things you can do and REQUESTS from MINNSIR

1. Emails and faxes by you are an easy activity that can be done from the
comfort of your home.
PLEASE create an email that touches on the subjects with illegal immigration
and send them as often as possible by email - fax - or phone to your local,
state and federal Representatives. - They must hear from us.
Remind these individuals - WE HAVE NOT LESSEN OUR DETERMINATION.

2. Contact those special interest groups..........
For those of you involved with special interests groups like environmental groups,
taxpayer leagues, social security issues, educational organizations, etc.
and organizations like the Chamber of Commerce and the ACLU

3. Write (LTE's) Letter to The Editors - You would be surprised at the number
of individuals who thank me on the street, via email and US mail and by phone
for sharing thoughts that they agree with and were uneasy about publicly stating.
We must gain strength in our voices and others will come "Out of the Shadows"
if they feel like they are not out their alone.

4. MINNSIR is the State Chapter for FIRE Coalition - as many of you know.
However - we are delighted to announce a team leader in the Twin Cities area.
William (Willie) Sorlien. CONGRAT"S WILLIE
We will provide you with his contact info once it is set up
(This changes nothing within MINNSIR)

5. MINNSIR is still working on a weekly radio appearance
An outlet for those of you that would like to be heard with weekly updates
on what is happening within illegal immigration on a week to week basis.
We will keep you inform

6. We have several ideas within the Judicial/Legal system.
Lawsuits that could be filed - discrimination cases, employment cases etc.
We have found an attorney that will work with MINNSIR - however funding for
such cases is the problem. We continue to look for serious funding alternatives
and will keep you up to date - because as you already know - this is not an
inexpensive avenue to pursue.
We do not receive the funding that those combating the end to illegal immigration do.
This is yet another avenue that must be addressed

7. Continue to Activate, Motivate and Educate your friends, families, co-workers
and attend forums, meetings etc. - EDUCATION IS A VERY STRONG TOOL

8. There are many ideas we have and will continue to work at but again remember.......
Only by our INACTION are they ensured a victory!

 This article below is disturbing.
White Construction Workers and skilled laboir - need not apply
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sincerely hope Obama has more common sense than this.
Not to mention these comments are racially decisive but
also DISCRIMINATORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I thought we were fighting that.

I have an idea - - - - -
How about we remove all talk of racial indifference, remove those working
in the US ILLEGALLY or being shipped in on visa's - and supply the jobs to all AMERICANS!!!!

Without the millions of those supplying cheap labor illegally in the US
jobs would open up - to all races, colors and creeds - the economic
stimulus success - so desired by the Obama Adminsitration - would take
place and Americans - NOT ILLEGAL ALIENS - would be back to work.

Subject: Update from Senator Gimse

Dear Friends:

Looking forward to the final week of January and really getting down to
business at the Legislature I can’t help being optimistic.  I know our
state is facing a large deficit and some pretty tough challenges, but
it’s a chance to do some things right.

Last week we heard Governor Pawlenty’s State of the State Address in
which he highlighted the need to turn our economy around and kick-start
growth again with the creation of new jobs.  He said it and I’ll
repeat it; the way to create more jobs in Minnesota is to reduce the tax
burden business owner’s face.

After the Governors speech we met on the floor of the Senate where one
of my colleagues, Senator Geoff Michel, offered an amendment to a bill
that would have eliminated state business taxes gradually over 10 years.

Unfortunately, it failed to pass, but if it had, it would have lit up
the sign for Minnesota saying “Open for Business” and you would have
seen a noticeable response from employers that would have translated
into more “Help Wanted” signs across the state.  We’ll keep trying
to offer ideas to help create jobs.  We can grow our way out of this
recession and improving the business climate through reducing the tax
burden is how we do it.

I was also glad to see that the inauguration of our new President went
off without a hitch, but I must confide that I am concerned about the
position the new administration may take regarding the sanctity of human
life.  The new President has a troubling voting record on protecting
unborn babies.

On Thursday, January 22, thousands of Minnesotans participated in the
annual March for Life at the Capitol.  I was proud to be there and
continue to fully support protecting the lives of all Minnesotans,
especially the unborn who cannot speak for themselves.

Finally, I am excited to be presenting an aggravated forgery bill in
the Senate which would clarify the law, making it a felony for anyone
obtaining a job using false or forged forms of identity.  This will help
law enforcement when investigating these cases, courts when passing
sentencing and in the end, all Minnesotans by increasing the number of
jobs available for legal residents.

I encourage you to let me know your comments and concerns, and I am
honored to serve as your Senator in St. Paul.  You can reach me by
telephone at (651)296-3826, by mail at 105 State Office Building, 100
Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55155, or via e-mail
at sen.joe.gimse@senate.mn.

Sincerely,
Joe Gimse
Minnesota State Senator
Assistant Minority Leader
District 13

2. Africa to the US - this turly is scary - why does our Government not respond?

House passes healthcare bill that includes illegal aliens.

Ask the Senate to amend the bill.

The House of Representatives has passed an expanded version of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), and made it easier for illegal aliens to access the program's benefits.

HR 2, the new version of SCHIP, weakens verification requirements. Those who enroll will be required to show only an easily forged Social Security card -- not secure documents proving U.S. citizenship. The legislation also extends benefits to non-citizen children of legal immigrants.

The SCHIP bill is designed to provide health coverage to low-income children, a laudable goal, but in these tough economic times, we cannot afford to spend scarce dollars on illegal aliens. That simply means fewer funds will be available for poor Americans.

ACTION NEEDED

Ask your Senators to amend the legislation to prevent benefits from going to illegal aliens. Send a free fax or an e-mail by clicking the link below:

This is truly scary
How much more information and proof does the Government need
to realize they must secure the border and know who is entering our Country?

As I have stated before - Who should be held accountable for our INSECURITY??

5-year sentence for Africa-to-U. S. smuggler

WASHINGTON —
A Ghanaian man was sentenced to five years in prison Thursday after pleading guilty to smuggling East African economic refugees into the United States via Latin America.
Mohammed Kamel Ibrahim, 27, was known as "Silk the Shocker" when he lived in Mexico in 2007 operating what U.S. government officials said was a major smuggling pipeline.
The case raised alarms among intelligence officials focused on networks that smuggle people from Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia and Sudan - known havens for terrorists, including al-Qaida.
In intercepted e-mails, Ibrahim wrote that "getting into the U.S. is no problem at all," and could be done for a price of $5,000.
According to court documents the smugglers had associates in Africa, typically corrupt officials. And they chose their routes based on which transit points employ easily bribed authorities.
Routes have included traveling from East Africa to Johannesburg, South Africa, and from Johannesburg to Sao Paulo, Brazil. East Africans also flew from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or Rome to Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela in 2007, according to an intelligence assessment. In addition, the smugglers have access to fake and real Belizean, Bolivian, Chilean, Mexican, Peruvian and South African visas.
In Ibrahim's case, people were stored in luggage compartments of buses for as long as 12 hours and driven to the U.S.-Mexican border. The smugglers escorted clients as they walked across the border into the United States between official entry ports.
East Africans mostly come to the United States to find better lives because of a lack of job opportunities in their home countries.
