Because there was too much risk that those lobbyists would continue to represent the business interests instead of the public good. Now comes some astonishing news. Since January 2009, Obama has appointed to jobs in the Justice Department nine individuals who previously represented or advocated for the jihadist thugs being held at Guantanamo Bay♠, Cuba.
