April 15 - Tea Party
Building on the success of the Nationwide Chicago Tea Parties held in multiple cities around the nation, conservative grassroots organizations and free market activists will once again come together on April 15th to protest out-of-control government spending. Plans are under way for rallies to take place in over 300 American cities, with more sites to be added in the coming weeks. The goal of these protests is to call attention to the unprecedented wasteful spending by Democrats in Congress and the Obama Administration. For more information, visit www.TeaPartyMN.com.
May 2 - Jason Lewis Tax Cut Rally
Because of the state of Minnesota's unprecedented budget deficit and the federal government's reckless spending binge, we are set to ratchet up our plans for this year's Jason Lewis Tax Cut Rally to be held at the state Capitol on Saturday, May 2 from 11:00a.m. - 4:00 p.m. KTLK, Minnesota Majority and the Taxpayers' League of Minnesota have partnered this year to expand the number of activities to include more booths, more organizations and more information. Don't miss this event which is sure to be fun for the whole family with food, refreshments, music and other entertainment. Visit www.TaxCutRally.com for more details.
The following information was forwarded to me from another webring: Cannot verify veracity, but be aware!
TEA PARTY CAUTION! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING - FROM ANYONE - AT ANY TEA PARTY ANYWHERE IN THE USA ---- NO EXCEPTIONS!
Federally-funded ACORN operators will be at all Tea Parties to get signatures which they will give to Obama stating that the signatures are in support of his policies or to get the names of people who oppose his policies and report dissention.
PASS IT ON!
So here it is. What have we learned in 2,063 years??
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
