SAF REACTS TO NEW JERSEY RESPONSE IN RIGHT-TO-CARRY LAWSUIT
BELLEVUE, WA - The New Jersey Attorney General's motion to dismiss a recently-filed Second Amendment Foundation lawsuit against the state's subjective handgun carry laws was "predictable and disappointing," SAF said today. The lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the Garden State's "justifiable need" gun permit standard also involves the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs and six private citizens. It was filed in November in federal court. The Attorney General's brief asserted, "When a handgun is carried in public, the serious risks and dangers of misuse and accidental use are borne by the public." "That is a pretty lame argument," said SAF Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb. "Considering that there are more than 6.2 million law-abiding citizens licensed to carry in 48 states, and that many of these people have either intervened in, or prevented crimes by their mere presence, New Jersey's position on this issue simply defies common sense." Gottlieb said the very nature of New Jersey's "justifiable need" requirement is arbitrary, discriminatory and "wide open to official abuse." "We are disappointed but not surprised by the State's response to our lawsuit," noted ANJRPC President Scott Bach. "The right to defend yourself with a firearm outside the home has long been disparaged in the Garden State, and if necessary we are prepared to take this lawsuit all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court to change that." SAF is also challenging gun permit provisions in neighboring New York and Maryland, and has filed a federal challenge to North Carolina's Emergency Powers Act. Additionally, SAF filed a lawsuit against Attorney General Eric Holder over enforcement of provisions in the 1968 Gun Control Act that prevent American citizens living abroad from purchasing firearms in this country. SAF won Second Amendment incorporation in its lawsuit against the Chicago handgun ban, McDonald v. City of Chicago.
The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation's oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 650,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control. SAF has previously funded successful firearms-related suits against the cities of Los Angeles; New Haven, CT; and San Francisco on behalf of American gun owners, a lawsuit against the cities suing gun makers and an amicus brief and fund for the Emerson case holding the Second Amendment as an individual right.

A man who wants to control what you think and what you say had dinner in the White House last week... and we don't mean Hu Jintao of China. Yep... that's right folks... it would appear that Barack Obama and his minions on the left have seen how their brethren in China do it... it would appear that they like what they see... and now they want to lay siege to your 1st Amendment rights. The Left in America has watched how the Chinese denied their citizens access to Google and other Internet sites. The Left in America has watched how China has denied its citizens access to anything that speaks against the government and it appears that the Left has been taking notes. Its not enough that leftists want to hog-tie you with miles of red tape and interfere with every aspect of your life... now they want to stifle your voice too. Don't let them get away with it. The Western Center for Journalism will not back down in the face of this attempt to regulate away your 1st Amendment rights. We will always monitor, expose, and fight attempts by the Left to use the levers of government to trample our 1st amendment rights. But we need your help. Your tax deductible donation will help us continue our mission and fight the good fight. The act of a madman that bought tragedy to Tucson is now being cynically repackaged by the Left as a means of launching an organized effort to SILENCE the voices of those that disagree with the Obama regime. As Tom Fitton with Judicial Watch put it: "Don’t be fooled by any calls for 'civility' by President Obama, his leftist political allies, or even Establishment-types in the Republican Party. The Left thinks it is necessarily uncivil to challenge the corruption endemic to Washington, DC. Calls for civility are a polite way of saying conservative critics of Washington should 'shut up.' And too many liberals suggested this week that conservatives 'shut up' or go to jail." But liberals aren't just TELLING you to shut-up... they're going to MAKE YOU SHUT-UP. In recent weeks Barack Obama's minions in the FCC, even though the courts told them they did not have the power or the authority to do so, have already already implemented a POLICY TO REGULATE THE INTERNET. When the FCC added the Internet to its portfolio, FCC Commissioner Meredith Atwell Baker rightly said: "We have two branches of government — Congress and the courts — expressing grave concerns with our agency becoming increasingly unmoored from our statutory authority. By seeking to regulate the Internet now, we exceed the authority Congress has given us, and justify those concerns." And now with the Internet in its clutches, leftists are now pushing for a reintroduction of the so-called Fairness Doctrine... they are coming at you to further squash your 1st Amendment rights. The Constitution was written by the founding fathers to protect the liberties of the people of this great nation. It has served and protected generations of Americans. But Obama and his minions know better (or so they think). As far as they are concerned, the pesky 1st Amendment is getting in the way... interfering with their plans to establish their socialist utopia... it’s getting in their way so they're going to effectively neuter it through regulations they do not have the actual power to institute or enforce. And they're gearing up for battle. According to syndicated columnist Michele Malkin: "New York Democratic Rep. Louise Slaughter assailed the Federal Communications Commission for failing to police broadcast content and vowed to 'look into' more aggressive language monitoring." The Constitution has been a beacon of liberty for over 200 years. Leftists have dreamed for years of a way to shut it down, to carry out their sordid plans under the cover of darkness and now they are trying to do just that. For far too long, the liberal media has controlled what Americans see and hear, but in recent years talk-radio and the Internet sprang forth and became venues which allowed patriotic Americans to obtain the truth. So now the FCC is waiting in the wings and is about to unleash its fury. The Left's favorite weapon of control is about begin its takeover of the airwaves and the Internet. The voices of freedom are about to be strangled by red tape. Its up to us to stop them. We must not allow them to squelch those voices that speak out... those voices that speak the truth... those voices that believe that the Constitution should be preserved and enforced for us and the generations to come. “It’s time to rethink the parameters of free speech” says Rep Jim Clyburn (D-SC), a leading light in calling for the reintroduction of the Fairness Doctrine; but in reality, Clyburn is saying it’s time to stop the people who don’t like what liberals are doing from saying so. Media matters CEO David Brock has called for Fox News to fire Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. Why? Because they exercise their constitutional right... they speak the truth and those in power don’t like what they have to say. FCC's Chief Diversity Officer Mark Lloyd says that: "blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies." How dare we, the people, believe blindly in the Constitution. What were we thinking, believing that freedom was a good thing. The truth is that the left is scared. They are scared that as long as the American people know what is going on they'll throw off the Left's wicked policies of control before they can be enacted... and the Left is right. As long as you know what is going on, you will throw off the shackles of tyranny. That's what the Left fears and you can help us make that fear into a reality.

A Call to Participate

CCCR-Education News Reel
Fidelity to the Constitution-Restoring the Republic

A Call to Participate 1/23/11

Dear Supporters,

Times like these require extraordinary efforts of "We the People" to step up and rebuff unconstitutional government. We ask your consideration for this call to participate.

The Columbia Heights School board continues being bogged down in political power struggle over the election of a new School board chairman. For multiple decades a DFL controlled board continually elected liberal political DFL activists to the position of chairman. With the November 2010 elections the Columbia Heights School board is evenly politically polarized having 3 members liberal and 3 members conservative. The law requires the board to elect a chairman at the first School board meeting in January 2011. Because of the new board makeup, the chairman position was not elected even after 3 consecutive votes. Again during the next School board meeting the board could not elect a new chairman having a 3 to 3 vote for the two candidates. On Tuesday January 25, 2011 at 7:00pm the School board will hold their regular meeting at the Education Center next to the High School on 49th street just east of Central Avenue in Columbia Heights. The first order of the meeting is again to hold a vote for School board chairman. The board is required to hold up to 3 separate votes for the position of chairman. Should the board not choose a new chairman another vote occurs at the next School board meeting. On and on this process continues until the gridlock is broken. For various reasons CCCR-Education supports Ted Landwher for the School board chairman; among the reasons are his legal background, support of and member in the community for decades, is a conservative member of the School board, has served as a Columbia Heights School board member in the past, and clearly represents our best chance for some Constitutional leadership in the Columbia Heights education system.

CCCR-Education is asking for your response to our "Call to Participate" on Tuesday evening. Please clear a couple hours from your schedule Tuesday evening 1/25/11 and attend the Columbia Heights School board meeting. We will have a couple speakers to address the board demanding they set politics aside and vote Ted Landwher as School board chairman and get on with the business of Constitutional education in Columbia Heights.

The more people willing to attend this critical meeting the better; the board needs to know "We the People" are done having non Constitutional government run unchecked especially in Columbia Heights education.

Thanks in advance for your participation and pleas invite other Constitutional minded citizens.

From ACT for America

district50ablog.blogspot.com Last Sunday, one of our members emailed us that Everett Community College in Washington state had scheduled a presentation about Islam in America. The college announcement listed an official with CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, as one of the speakers. Chris, a member of our national staff, sprang into action. He put a notice on our Facebook page, urging our friends to contact the college, educate them about CAIR’s background and its ties to Hamas, and demand that the college provide an opposing viewpoint to CAIR’s. Within 24 hours ACT! for America Facebook friends posted hundreds of comments on the college’s Facebook page! Everett Community College responded by saying this is by far the most public reaction the college has ever received on any issue. What’s more, the college removed CAIR from its website announcement and announced another presentation would be offered, this one to feature Raymond Ibrahim presenting a different viewpoint. We emailed Ibrahim’s recent column just this past Tuesday! This illustrates, yet again, the impact of grassroots people power. This is why we are launching our new television program, which debuts on Family Net on February 5th at 2:30 PM Eastern Time and on ALN at 4:00 PM Eastern Time on February 6th. Please spread the word! This is why every new member matters. This is why every time we add a new chapter leader our organized voice grows stronger. This is why every contribution counts. Because it takes more than education to win. It takes ACTION.
You can help us continue to grow and secure more victories by forwarding our emails to others. Signing and urging others to sign our national security appeal to Congress. Starting or getting involved in a local chapter. Making a monthly Patriot Partner gift or making a single Contributing Member gift.
There was a time when Everett Community College would have hosted a presentation on Islam and only the voice of organizations like CAIR would have been heard. And there would have been no organized means to protest it. Those days are gone. And the bigger we get, the stronger our voice will become, and the more victories we will win. district50ablog.blogspot.com

The Passing of Captain Ed Freeman

You're a 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in the jungle somewhere in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam. It's November 11, 1967. LZ (landing zone) X-ray. Your unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense from 100 yards away, that your CO (commanding officer) has ordered the MedEvac helicopters to stop coming in. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then - over the machine gun noise - you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter. You look up to see a Huey coming in. But.. It doesn't seem real because no MedEvac markings are on it. Captain Ed Freeman is coming in for you. He's not MedEvac so it's not his job, but he heard the radio call and decided he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway. Even after the MedEvacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 3 of you at a time on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses and safety. And, he kept coming back!! 13 more times!! Until all the wounded were out. No one knew until the mission was over that the Captain had been hit 4 times in the legs and left arm. He took 29 of you and your buddies out that day. Some would not have made it without the Captain and his Huey. Medal of Honor Recipient, Captain Ed Freeman, United States Air Force, died last Wednesday at the age of 70, in Boise, Idaho May God Bless and Rest His Soul. I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we've sure seen a whole bunch about Lindsay Lohan, Tiger Woods and the bickering of congress over Health Reform. Medal of Honor Winner Captain Ed Freeman Shame on the American media !!! Now... YOU pass this along to YOUR mailing list. Honor this real American. Please.

50 Fray Meeting 1/17/11

Hi Everyone, 01/07/2011

Just a reminder we have a 50 Fray discussion group meeting on Monday January 17, location is Moe’s Restaurant in Mounds View. The address is 2400 Highway 10. The time is 7:00pm.

Our featured speaker is (R) Senator Pam Wolf; she will be taking questions about the 2011 legislative session as well as talking about her successful campaign for her Senate seat…

This should be very interesting as the republicans now control both the senate and the house. I’m sure Pam can give us a little insight on our new Governor Dayton.

We will be meeting down stairs in the conference room and food and beverages will be available as desired…Please give us an idea if you can make it, so Moe’s can staff our gathering properly…

Thank you,

Greg Meyers

Dr. Karen Effrem

The following was from a meeting I missed due to work. Thought you might be interested in some of Karen's ideas. And also a free plug for O'Gara's Dr Karen Effrem
Local resident and national expert in education policy has provided testimony for Congress and in-depth analysis of numerous pieces of major federal education, health, and early childhood legislation. Dr. Effrem serves on the boards of four national organizations:
SHE BELIEVES
  1. Parents are the primary authority in the education and rearing of children.
  2. Accessible, nonpublic education without government interference is essential to a healthy education system.
  3. Good education is most importantly about acquiring knowledge and understanding, not about inculcating government-approved values and beliefs.
  4. Good education in the United States promotes the American Creed (Principles of Liberty) as defined by the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution.
  5. Good education accurately teaches the political heritage of western civilization, including the Judeo-Christian worldview, as America's historical foundation.
  6. Good education teaches a thorough understanding of the world in which we live, but also reinforces the sovereignty of the United States and American exceptionalism.
  7. Good education understands that truth exists, and that it can be discovered, understood, and taught.
  8. The constitutional authority over education is reserved to the individual states and citizens, not to the federal government. The constitutional limit on federal powers is an essential part of the separation of powers that protects the freedom of the American people.
  9. Early childhood care from birth to five is best determined by the child's parents. Establishing ideological and political child-outcomes and universal preschool is a dangerous expansion of government power over families.
  10. Universal or routine psychological screening of students and young children in schools and childcare settings is a usurpation of the authority of parents and a dangerous violation of personal privacy

Govt. Mandates

From: Steve Drazkowski A group of GOP members and staff from the House and Senate have been meeting for the purpose of assembling a list of local government (cities, counties, schools) mandates that are ripe for elimination this session. Many of the local government associations have put together lists and shared them with us, but we would like to gain additional ideas that any members have.
If you have any particular local government mandate that you believe needs to be eliminated, please share the idea with us. You can get them to Craig Stone by emailing a short description to him at Craig.Stone@house.mn
Thanks for any help that you can provide and I am looking forward as we begin our very important work next week. Happy New Year! Steve Drazkowski State Representative, District 28B

19 Facts About The De Industrialization Of America That Will Blow Your Mind

district50ablog.blogspot.com

Thanks G-man for another quality contribution

The United States are rapidly becoming the very first "post-industrial" nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them, but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from automobiles to televisions to airplanes. It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan in World War II.

But now we are witnessing the de industrialization of America . Tens of thousands of factories have left the United States in the past decade alone. Millions upon millions of manufacturing jobs have been lost in the same time period. The United States have become a nation that consumes everything in sight and yet produces increasingly little. Do you know what our biggest export is today? Waste paper. Yes, trash is the number one thing that we ship out to the rest of the world as we voraciously blow our money on whatever the rest of the world wants to sell to us. The United States have become bloated and spoiled and our economy is now just a shadow of what it once was. Once upon a time America could literally out produce the rest of the world combined. Today that is no longer true, but Americans sure do consume more than anyone else in the world. If the de industrialization of America continues at this current pace, what possible kind of a future are we going to be leaving to our children?

Any great nation throughout history has been great at making things. So if the United States continues to allow its manufacturing base to erode at a staggering pace how in the world can the U.S. continue to consider itself to be a great nation? We have created the biggest debt bubble in the history of the world in an effort to maintain a very high standard of living, but the current state of affairs is not anywhere close to sustainable. Every single month America goes into more debt and every single month America gets poorer.

So what happens when the debt bubble pops?

The de industrialization of the United States should be a top concern for every man, woman and child in the country. But sadly, most Americans do not have any idea what is going on around them .

For people like that, take this article and print it out and hand it to them. Perhaps what they will read below will shock them badly enough to awaken them from their slumber.

The following are 19 facts about the de industrialization of America that will blow your mind....

#1 The United States has lost approximately 42,400 factories since 2001. About 75 percent of those factories employed over 500 people when they were still in operation.

#2 Dell Inc., one of America ’S largest manufacturers of computers, has announced plans to dramatically expand its operations in China with an investment of over $100 billion over the next decade.

#3 Dell has announced that it will be closing its last large U.S. manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem , North Carolina in November. Approximately 900 jobs will be lost.

#4 In 2008, 1.2 billion cell phones were sold worldwide. So how many of them were manufactured inside the United States ? Zero.

#5 According to a new study conducted by the Economic Policy Institute, if the U.S. trade deficit with China continues to increase at its current rate, the U.S. economy will lose over half a million jobs this year alone.

#6 As of the end of July, the U.S. trade deficit with China had risen 18 percent compared to the same time period a year ago.

#7 The United States has lost a total of about 5.5 million manufacturing jobs since October 2000.

#8 According to Tax Notes, between 1999 and 2008 employment at the foreign affiliates of U.S. parent companies increased an astounding 30 percent to 10.1 million. During that exact same time period, U.S. employment at American multinational corporations declined 8 percent to 21.1 million.

#9 In 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of U.S. economic output. In 2008, it represented 11.5 percent.

#10 Ford Motor Company recently announced the closure of a factory that produces the Ford Ranger in St. Paul , Minnesota . Approximately 750 good paying middle class jobs are going to be lost because making Ford Rangers in Minnesota does not fit in with Ford's new "global" manufacturing strategy.

#11 As of the end of 2009, less than 12 million Americans worked in manufacturing. The last time less than 12 million Americans were employed in manufacturing was in 1941.

#12 In the United States today, consumption accounts for 70 percent of GDP. Of this 70 percent, over half is spent on services.

#13 The United States has lost a whopping 32 percent of its manufacturing jobs since the year 2000.

#14 In 2001, the United States ranked fourth in the world in per capita broadband Internet use. Today it ranks 15 th.

#15 Manufacturing employment in the U.S. computer industry is actually lower in 2010 than it was in 1975.

#16 Printed circuit boards are used in tens of thousands of different products. Asia now produces 84 percent of them worldwide.

#17 The United States spends approximately $3.90 on Chinese goods for every $1 that the Chinese spend on goods from the United States .

#18 One prominent economist is projecting that the Chinese economy will be three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040.

#19 The U.S. Census Bureau says that 43.6 million Americans are now living in poverty and according to them that is the highest number of poor Americans in the 51 years that records have been kept.

So how many tens of thousands more factories do we need to lose before we do something about it?

How many millions more Americans are going to become unemployed before we all admit that we have a very, very serious problem on our hands?

How many more trillions of dollars are going to leave the country before we realize that we are losing wealth at a pace that is killing our economy?

How many once great manufacturing cities are going to become rotting war zones like Detroit before we understand that we are committing national economic suicide?

The de industrialization of America is a national crisis. It needs to be treated like one.

America is in deep, deep trouble folks. It is time to wake up district50ablog.blogspot.com

SmartZone Communications Center: Fw: [BuckhornClub] Fwd: Wal-Mart vs. The Morons

http://district50ablog.blogspot.com/ Thanks G-man for another great contribution: Wal-Mart vs. The Morons
1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.
2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute! 3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year. 4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined. 5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English. 6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world. 7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years. 8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy. 9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world. 10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago. 11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.) 12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart. You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy. This should be read and understood by all Americans Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!! To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature, It is now official you are ALL corrupt morons: a.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.
b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.
d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.
e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.
f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.
g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.
You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.
AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ??
Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected' (they never read anything) and their staff will clue them in on how Americans feel.

History Lesson on Your Social Security Card

district50ablog.blogspot.com

Thanks G-man for another elucidating contribution.

Just in case  some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn't know  this. It's easy to check out, if you don't believe  it. Be sure and show it to your family and  friends. They need a little history lesson on what's what  and it doesn't matter whether  you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are   Facts.

Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly  stated the number and card were not to be used for identification  purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United  States now has a number, it became   convenient to use it anyway and  the message,NOT FOR   IDENTIFICATION,was   removed.

An old Social Security card with  the
"NOT  FOR IDENTIFICATION" message.
Our Social Security

Franklin  Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
Security (FICA)  Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program  would be
Completely  voluntary,

No  longer Voluntary

2.) That the participants would  only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their  annual
Incomes into the  Program,

Now  7.65%

on the  first $90,000

3.) That the money the participants  elected to put
into the Program would be deductible  from
their income for tax purposes each  year,

No  longer tax deductible

4.) That the money the  participants put into the
independent 'Trust Fund' rather  than into the
general operating fund, and  therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social  Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government  program, and,

Under  Johnson the money was moved to

The General Fund and  Spent

5.) That the annuity payments to  the retirees would never be taxed as  income.

Under Clinton &  Gore

Up to 85% of  your Social Security can be Taxed

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years  and are
now receiving a Social Security check every month  --

and  then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
the money  we
paid to  the Federal government to 'put
away'  --
you   may be interested in the following:

------------ ---------  --------- --------- --------- --------- ----

Q:  Which Political Party took Social Security from   the
independent 'Trust Fund' and put it into  the
general fund so that Congress could spend  it?

A:  It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically
controlled House  and Senate.

------------  --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------  --

Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income   tax
deduction for Social Security (FICA)  withholding?

A:  The Democratic Party.

------------  --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------  -----

Q: Which Political Party started taxing  Social
Security  annuities?

A:  The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting   the
'tie-breaking' deciding vote as President of  the
Senate, while he was Vice President of the   US

------------  --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------  -

Q: Which Political Party decided to start
giving  annuity payments to immigrants?

AND MY  FAVORITE:

A:  That's right!

Jimmy  Carter
 and the  Democratic Party.

   Immigrants  moved into this country,
and  at age 65,
began to receive Social Security payments!  The
Democratic Party gave these payments to  them,

even though they never paid a dime into  it!

------------  -- ------------ --------- ----- ------------ ---------  ---------

Then, after violating the original  contract (FICA),
the Democrats turn around and tell you that  the Republicans want to take your Social Security  away!

And  the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe   it!

If enough people receive this, maybe a seed  of
awareness will be planted and maybe changes  will
evolve. Maybe not, some Democrats are  awfully
sure of what isn't so.

But it's worth a try. How many people will YOU send this to?

Actions speak louder than bumper  stickers.
